GET A $650 DOLLAR CREDIT TOWARDS A SURFACE PRO 3

Surface Pro 3

I have yet to speak to someone who doesn’t salivate at the thought of owning a Surface Pro 3, however, I know very few individuals that actually own one due to its steep price point. Apparently, Microsoft (and Amazon) have listened and are making it easier on those who wish to bite the bullet for the Surface Pro 3.

First, the entry-level iteration of the “tablet-laptop replacement”  is getting a price-cut of $100 dollars. That puts the Surface at only $100 dollars more than Apple’s entry-level iPad Air 2. However, comparatively the entry-level Surface has 4 times the storage space, twice as much ram, and runs full Windows. If you’re not completely tied to Apple’s ecosystem, this is a hard offer to pass by.

Additionally, Amazon is running a special where you receive a $100 Amazon Gift Card when you purchase a Surface Pro 3. While at the time of this article, it doesn’t appear as if there are any more of these offers available, however, the deal could return. Click here to view Amazon and see whether the deal has been restocked.

Finally, Microsoft is also offering a new trade-in program that allows you to get credit from your older (or lower spec) Surface Tablets to use towards the purchase of a new one. While the original Microsoft Surface RT will give you a credit of only $85 dollars, newer models can get you up to $650. You can visit Microsoft’s trade-in site here to find out how much your device is worth.

It’s clear that Microsoft has heard loud and clear that consumers are struggling with the price of the Surface. It’s refreshing to see both a price-cut and trade-in options to allow people the ability to upgrade to more powerful and recent hardware. Many speculate that this move could also signify an upcoming announcement of the Surface Pro 4 (or whatever they decide to call it). The upcoming device is rumored to release either this April powered by the Core M processor, or in the fall with Intel’s Skylake Processor. Regardless, this is an exciting time for anyone that is a fan of the device.

We provided very favorable reviews of the Surface Pro 3 due to its incredible design, small footprint, and powerful innards. You can read our in-depth review here.
