The SmashCast: Episode 24
It’s the week before E3 and we’re pulling out the big guns with our predictions. Curtis and I make 3 realistic predictions and 3 outlandish predictions surrounding Microsoft, Nintendo, and Sony. Curtis was so smart in one of his predictions that it was actually already true. (Halo 6 announcement) Grab some popcorn, put on your headphones, and get ready to enter the fantasy land of pre-E3 predictions! (You can see all of our E3 predictions in text down below. Realistic Predictions:
- Curtis – Nintendo will announce the successor to the Wii U
- Ryan – Nintendo will announce bringing classic Nintendo games to mobile devices
- Curtis – Sony will announce DLNA support for Playstation 4
- Ryan – Sony will announce a redesigned and cheaper Playstation 4
- Curtis – Microsoft will announce NBATV for the Xbox oNE
- Ryan – Microsoft will announce Hololens integration with Xbox One
Outlanding Predictions:
- Curtis – Microsoft and Sony will combine forces and allow cross-platform multiplayer gaming
- Ryan – Microsoft is going to tank their E3 announcements and lose all of their current momentum with gamers
- Curtis – Nintendo is going to announce they are filing bankruptcy
- Ryan – Nintendo is going to resurrect the original Wii but with beefed up specs
- Curtis – Sony will announce support for jailbreaking the Playstation 4
- Ryan – Sony will announce the Playstation Vita successor
- Curtis – EA will announce their first VR sports games
- Ryan – Sega will announce their entry back into the console war
