Let’s face it, you love bacon. You also love your tablet. Have you ever wanted to combine those two worlds of love? Of course you have. I have news for you, Lenovo’s new tablet is “bacon-enabled”, meaning you can use bacon as your stylus. It does, however, require that you use this piece of bacon:

Alright, so this bacon is made of metal, but it most certainly would work with Lenovo’s new AnyPen technology. Virtually anything that conducts electricity can be used as a stylus. In fact, the company actually recommends using ball point pens and pencils as your stylus. The tip of a pen (or the corner of this piece of metal bacon) is far more precise than your finger for that matter.

The rest of the specs on the tablet are pretty standard, though the battery life is quite impressive. See them below:

  • 8 Inch Full HD Screen
  • 2 GB of Ram
  • 64-Bit Intel Atom Quad-Core Processor
  • 32 GB of internal memory
  • 8 Megapixel Rear Camera
  • 1.6 Megapixel Front Camera
  • Built-In Kickstand
  • 15 Hour Battery Life

Additionally, the tablet has a hole in the kickstand allowing you to hang it on the wall in case you want to watch a movie or are looking for a digital picture frame that doubles as a home automation controller. (There’s an idea for you. Secret bacon controlled home automation. Watch out Kickstarter!)

The tablet will retail for $300. If you include materials necessary to make your Bacon Stylus, the grand total will be around $330. (Instructions here)

What would you use as a stylus? (When you run out of bacon) Let us know in the comments below!
